I know how busy the life of a stay-at-home mom can be but there is one important fact that many moms do not bring up.
When you are tired you can sit down.
You may be folding laundry or feeding a baby while you sat down, but you are still sitting.
In retail you don't get that luxury. If you aren't wearing the right shoes.....oh man....
Today has been a day of pain. My left calf is cramped and my right butt cheek won't relax. But before all of you think I hate my job just know that I only hurt physically (which after some more Wii Fit time will get better). Mentally I am doing awesome! I helped out with a Macy's event and later assisted a lady in buying a suit. When I left work the Women's Suit Department informed me that they would love to have me work with them "anytime!"
Woohoo! I rock at part time department work!
On with the show.
Sine I was so sore today I decided to try using yoga to stretch out. The yoga program may seem simple when you are looking at the menu but what you don't realize is that while you are doing these moves the Wii Fit Board is measuring you balance.
You don't realize how poor your balance is until you have a Nintendo Trainer saying;
"Your legs are shaking, try keeping your center of balance in the yellow area...."
My red dot is off screen since I have fallen off the board by nowWii Fit Age- 26 years old (Bigger bummer)
Workout Time- 15 minutes
1st Breakfast- Diana's leftover Mac'n Cheese
2nd Breakfast- Stuffed french toast, side of bacon, and coffee
Lunch- Scavenger lunch of popcorn, cherry tomatoes, and Coke
Dinner- Spicy Italian sausage, pasta, and one bottle of beer

Better on the sugar, but what's your WI fit age?
I tend to fall during yoga and taiji without needing to be on a board or having a virtual instructor trying to correct myself....
"Your leg is shaking, try..."
"SHUT UP! I'M HAVING SPASMS THANKS TO YOU!" *flail and fall*
... yep, that's how I picture it'll go....
Can I just say that I love that you're doing this Wii Fit Plus challenge!
Keep up the awesome.
You are really an inspiration, I'd totally have given up at day 3.
Also, sausage, pasta and beer = best meal ever!
Dude mac and cheese for breakfast? Seriously? Yeah I did yoga once on a wii fit and my lack of coordination was reiterated by the machine. It knows me so well
Hi,
Yoga is beneficial for the health in ways that modern science is just beginning to understand. Even though it has beenapplied with therapeutic intention for thousand of years, Yoga Therapy is only just now emerging as a discipline initself.
More health care practitioners are starting to include yogic techniques in their approach to healing -- andmore yoga teachers give a therapeutic intention to their teaching. People who have never tried yoga before are startingto consider including Yoga in their treatment plan.
As science begins to document the importance of understanding the interrelation of all existing things, it looks to Yogawith an intrigued eye, for Yoga speaks Unity in every word. As yoga techniques are researched and new data is gathered,it becomes easier for science and the medical establishment to understand and accept the benefits of Yoga Therapy.Yet there is still not one consensual definition of the discipline.
In order to arrive to an adequate definition and tocome up with proper standards for Yoga Therapy, it is crucial at this early stage to properly address some delicateprofessional and ethical issues. At the same time it is important to educatethegeneralpublic about Yoga Therapy'sbenefits and careful use.
so this article will really helpful to me..
Dude, I HEAR YOU about sore legs, numb ass, etc. My feet are SO SWOLLEN after a 9 hour day running around at the coffee shop, literally NEVER sitting down. I get so stiff in the evening when I get home, I'm likely not to get up again. And those 13 days when I have to cover for others? DON'T EVEN TALK TO ME, I CAN'T MOVE.
